What Part 2 covers

CMA Part 2: Strategic Financial Management develops the advanced analytical and decision-making capabilities expected of a senior finance professional. It moves from interpreting financial statements through ratio and profitability analysis to the complex world of corporate finance—valuation, capital structure, derivatives, and mergers. The paper then addresses the practical judgement skills that distinguish great CFOs: pricing strategy, enterprise risk management, capital budgeting under uncertainty, and the ethical responsibilities that underpin every professional decision.
